In digital market, web designing is itself considered as a craft. According to the digital marketing company, with web designing, the designer tries to showcase some effectual images and writings to the viewers. Presently, almost everyone is dependent on websites not only for big things but for small things as well, thus this lead to the dominating sector of web designing.

What is the new concept?

Responsive web design has arrived as a different approach, in which designer crafts an optimal website that conveys better information to the viewer. This new concept showcases more variability than the conventional websites that are more rigid by design. The static design soon will be history in the digital market since the new concept of responsive web design is getting popular with a rapid pace, and all thanks to its user-friendly approach. The designers convert a conventional static website into the responsive one, by making it dynamic that proposes better interaction with the visitors.

The contemporary practices implemented on responsive web design includes:

  • The first is to replace the static aspects into dynamic and responsive prototypes.
  • Designing a website in such manner that it fits in any devices starting from desktops to smartphones.
  • Applying lower-fidelity prototype designs during the process of designing.

If you thinking of the first step, then first you should keep your content ready. Content in hand influences the designers to decide which aspect of the website comprises high priority, which further lead to hierarchical layout to be completed precisely. Although, we understand that the entire content can’t be available all the time, but you can try out for a simple layout for a brief idea.

After preparing the content, the next move should be considering your Mobile-First approach. With this step, your website design will be fit on any device, where you will keep it. With its over design, the visitors get details more effectively about what the website is all about and what it is offering. It makes the website more fun and keeps your traffic engaged for a longer period. And as you know the equation, more traffic will directly lead you to more profit. So, we, the web development company India can say that responsive web design is much better than static compositions in very manner.

Basics Points for E-commerce Website Security

“Think Safety Work Safely”, security for e-commerce websites is considered as the keystone for running a successful business. Why? Since people only want to spend their money on trusted companies and organizations. And many e-commerce website development companies know the security fact.

You are working for the e-commerce templates, but if you have not worked out for your website’s security, then all your marketing efforts would go wrong and will never bring you positive outcomes. Here, at Vervelogic, we know the importance of security for an e-commerce website so we are introducing the basics of security. Thus, scroll down and consider these basics to make your website a secure and successful destination.

PCI Compliance

PCI Security Standards Council works as a global entity, whose founding beings includes Discover Financial Services, American Express, JCB International, Visa, and MasterCard. This council is established to develop, improve and maintain the advanced security standards for payment gateways. While working together, the members of this council came up with basic security requirements which as a group known as Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Staying compliant with PCI and ensuring that all confidential information is tokenized (Replacing sensitive information into non-sensitive data) in such manner that greatly reduces the risk of information being stolen, reflects the first and foremost key to be successful. For an online store, it is extremely important to keep the data safe from scammers and hackers.

SSL Certificate

SSL certificate is used to make sure that the sensitive information which is sent over the web is secure and encrypted. When a site visitor or any merchant send confidential information over the internet, then it passes through various computers before it reaches to its destination server. At any point, during its process, it can get stolen if SSL certificate has not encrypted the data.

The SSL certificate actually changes all the sensitive information such as usernames, password, and credit card details in unreadable form for everyone who is the part of the sending-information process. It is considered as a mandatory aspect for e-commerce websites since it helps the store to build trust with site visitors and merchants.

HTTPS or Hypertext Transfer Protocol with Secure Sockets Layer is the protocol that transfers the information all over the web. Once again, this protocol implements encryption on the confidential information which is sent over the internet.

Moreover, many customers know the difference between HTTP and HTTPS, so they try to avoid purchasing from those websites that access HTTP. That means, using HTTP can actually affect the retailers’ sales numbers.

Firewall is the hardware and software system that allows authorized traffic and blocks malicious traffic from accessing the network or the system. That means it works as gateway or wall in between two systems.

There are different kinds of firewalls, but the two most effective firewalls for e-commerce stores named as proxy firewalls and application gateways. Both of these works as an intermediary system between two or multiple networks, indicating about the no direct connection between two networks.

Proxy Firewall

This firewall is considered as the most secure one. Its true that it works an intermediary system between two networks, but it provides an extra aspect – instead of making your information travelling all over the networks, proxy firewall create a new network connection for your store. That signifies, that there will be no scope for direct connection between the systems, which actually increases the difficulty level for hackers to attack.

Application Gateways

When application gateway is in access, then it establishes two communication lines – one of which is established between your computer and proxy, and another is established between proxy and the destination server. By working as a middle point, the application gateway only allows the authorized traffic to get in while hiding and protecting your network from others.

By working on all these safety measures, you can efficiently build your customers trust and your brand’s reputation, as recommended by every web development company India.

Why Google Suspends Local Listings? – Top 8 Reasons

There are many panicked business owners or internet marketers, who arrive at Google My Business forum having a large red-colored banner saying “Suspended” at the top of the page. The forum Google My Business comprises a long list of such practices that you should not do, thus if your business got suspended then first figure out what things go wrong which you have done.

Before we get into the rules of suspensions, let’s just find out what are the important facts around suspensions stated by the digital Marketing Company.

If you think that Google will notify you about the reasons, your listing got suspended, then let us tell you Google doesn’t believe in helping the rule-breakers to get better.

But in this post, we can tell you the reasons – that why Google has suspended your local listing? Scroll down and try to avoid the consequences:

1.  Your website URL is forwarding to different domain

Last year, we observed some of the cases when various businesses experienced local listing suspension. And Google publically confirmed that the reason is website URL which was taking the user to a different domain.

According to the Google’s guidelines “You are not allowed to provide phone numbers or URLs that redirect or refer users to the landing pages.”

2.  Including extra keywords to your business name field

As per the Google guidelines “Adding unnecessary details to your names such as marketing taglines, store codes, closing and opening hours,  phone numbers, product or service details, address or directions is not allowed.”

3.  You work as a service-area business and you have not hide your address

As per the stated guidelines by Google, you should disclose your address when the customer ask for it. Even if you do this, Google suspends your listing from Google Map as well.

4.  You have verified your business multiple times

In this case, Google suspends all the listings for the same business and also remove it from Google Maps. As Google guidelines state, “Do not create more than one page for each location of your business either through a single account or multiple accounts.”

5.  Your business is not allowed on Google Plus

This seems a new rule to us. Recently Google suspended the listing of a gun shop since the business comprises sensitive nature and it is not permitted at Google Plus.

6.  You have generated a listing at virtual office

According to Google: “In case your business rents a temporary or “virtual office along with a different address from your primary business, then you should not create a separate page for that location unless it is staffed during your routine working hours.”

We have noticed that businesses generate multiple listings for the virtual office, because they want to rank in various towns, and if Google finds it out, there local listing gets suspended.

7.  You have a listing for an online business without any physical storefront

Considering the very first rule for businesses, that they should be available for making in-person contact with their customers. But online businesses don’t do this, so Google specifies that they should create a brand page at G+ instead of having a local page.

8.  You run a service in a building that you don’t own

Google in its guidelines stated that “Ineligible businesses include: an ongoing service, class or meeting at a location that you don’t own or authorized to represent.”

Concluding Words
